I take a naturally curious approach to therapy, believing that every person's story holds unique insights and possibilities for growth. Currently pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I combine my academic training with a genuine interest in understanding each client's individual experience.
While I work with clients of all ages, I have a special connection with children and adolescents. My experience with the Boy Scouts of America has taught me the value of asking questions, exploring possibilities, and creating safe spaces where young people feel comfortable being themselves.
Through a lens of curiosity and openness, I help clients explore:
New perspectives on challenges
Creative solutions to problems
Understanding of emotions and behaviors
Family dynamics and relationships
Personal strengths and abilities
Cultural and social influences
My background in intercultural studies has deepened my appreciation for diverse perspectives and experiences. I believe that by remaining curious and open to each person's unique story, we can work together to find paths forward that truly resonate with who you are.
Whether I'm helping a child navigate school challenges, supporting a teenager in processing complex emotions, or working with a family to enhance communication, I create a warm, accepting environment where questions are welcomed and personal discovery is encouraged.
In our work together, you'll find a therapist who is genuinely interested in understanding your experiences and working collaboratively to support your growth and well-being.

I’m the counselor for you if you struggle with people-pleasing, feeling disconnected from who you are, perfectionism, body image, or carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. I’m a counselor who “gets it”.
You deserve to live a full, authentic life that feels joyful and free. At times, trauma, intergenerational wounds, chronic stress, the pressure to be perfect (both from ourselves and others), and the weight of the world stops us from living the life we deserve. I get it — it feels exhausting to live in a world that doesn’t feel safe. I see you and you don’t have to do this alone.
As a proud Latina therapist, I bring a holistic, empathetic, and social-justice oriented approach to supporting individuals and communities, believing that each person has their own story to share and their own beautiful strengths and qualities that are waiting to be discovered and set free.
I use a variety of techniques in therapy, including: storytelling, emotional processing, validation, compassion, radical acceptance, rejection of oppression, shame, diet culture, and perfectionism, silence & stillness, mindfulness, etc. But more than anything, I show up with authenticity, warmth, compassion, curiosity, and a space to explore the parts of you that feel silenced or unseen. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel empowered, understood, and at home in your body and life.
At the heart of my work, I support clients in reconnecting and coming home to themselves. I provide a safe space for clients to explore themselves, learn to trust themselves, advocate, and build their sense of strength and empowerment.
Drawing from my experiences in both clinical and education settings, I help clients navigate:
● Body Image
● Generational Trauma
● Perfectionism
● Chronic Stress
● Identity Exploration
● Anxiety and Depression
● Eating Disorders
● Work/Life Balance
● Friendships and Relationships
● Grief
Before stepping into the world of counseling, I spent several years supporting grassroots advocacy efforts in Texas, focusing on youth empowerment, mental health awareness, and social justice. This background deeply informs my counseling style—I believe in meeting clients where they are, understanding their experiences, and fostering a collaborative, empowering therapeutic relationship.

My deepest fulfillment comes from guiding others toward healing and growth. I believe that the cornerstone of meaningful change in counseling is a therapeutic relationship built on trust and acceptance. Providing a safe, judgment-free space is paramount to my counseling approach.
I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UTSA. My academic journey began in South Africa, where I completed my Bachelor's and Honors degrees in Psychology. Before moving to the U.S. to further my education and expand my experience, I worked for over two years as a licensed counselor at an employee wellness center.
I am passionate about working with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and identities, valuing each individual's unique lived experiences. Drawing from both my prior clinical work and current studies, my therapeutic approach is client-centered and designed to collaboratively help clients navigate challenges such as:
● Trauma and adverse experiences
● Depression and Anxiety
● Life transitions and identity exploration
● Relational dynamics
● Grief
My background as an international student from a culturally diverse country like South Africa enriches my perspective with a deep understanding of cultural responsiveness. I am dedicated to creating an environment where you can truly be your authentic self, and together, we will work toward achieving your unique goals.
